Thereare three Guest houses in the campus. The Main Guest House is meant for V.I.Psvisting the University. The Faculty Guest House is ideal to conduct conferences. The Third Guest House is attached to the D.D.E.
University Staff Quarters
Residential Quarters are provided to the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, Academic and Administrative Staff, Drivers and Married Research Scholars. There are 163 Quarters to meet the requirements of the staff.
University Student's Hostel
Thereare five men's hostels(accommodating 724) and three women's Hostels (accommodating 356) Post Graduate Students, M.Phil Students and Research Scholars of various faculties of this university.

One Post office is functioning in the campus.
Health Care
The University Hospital in collaboration with the Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Research Centre renders 24 hours services to the families living in theUniversity campus and to the residents of the people living in the surrounding 40 villages.
Co-Operative Stores
The stores completed its 28th year of service in 1996. The total number of members of the stores is 2184. The store caters to the needs of the staff of the University, affiliated colleges and the residents of the campus. It also supplies essential commodities to the family card holders.
Co-Operative Thrift Society
The Thrift Society was registered in 1970. It has 980 members with a paid up share capital of Rs. 24,56,970/-. It has collected Rs. 33,09,359/- as members thrift deposit. This society earned profit of Rs. 3,53,459.15 during 1995.
University Canteen
A canteen functions in the University campus. It caters to the needs of the
staff, students and the public visiting the University.
