Profile The basic aim of the Department
of Commerce since its inception is to provide quality education
and to help the Research Scholars. It is enriched with fine
infrastructural facility which is periodically upgraded. |

The Department has offered the following
courses :
- M. Com. (Special)
- M. F. C. (Master of Finance Control)

The sanctioned strength for M. Com. (Special)
and M. F. C. are 20 each (excluding the special category)
and 14 seats for M. Phil. Degree. The Department of Commerce
has produced 61 M. Phil Scholars and 38 Ph. D. Scholars during
the years 1996-2001. The Department conducts Symposia, Seminars
and workshops to build-up the knowledge of the students in
current affairs. To bridge the gap between Commerce and Computer
technology, the department has a tie-up with Software Technologies
Group (STG), SSi and SRM Radiant where the students are trained
in computer application. |
